6.17.3 Ground Clearance
For all cars up to and including Period D, all parts of the sprung
mass of the car must have a minimum ground clearance of 100
mm, such that a block 100mm in height may be inserted beneath
the car from any side.
Cars of periods E and F must have a minimum ground clearance
of 60 mm such that a block 60mm in height may be inserted
beneath the car from any side.

- Jeg trodde det var 10cm for F, men tydeligvis ikke. Dette er jo bra nyheter for Minier

14.4.5 The original speedometer may be replaced by an alternative
provided that the replacement is situated exactly in the same
housing and is of the analogue type. Supplementary analogue
type instruments are also allowed.

- For de som bygger Cooper S betyr det at man ikke trenger originalt speedo.

5.13.6 General requirements for the construction of rollbars and
rollcages
(a) Rollcages for cars of Period E and F may have a maximum of
eight mounting points (see art. 8.2.2.2 of Appendix VI), where
a mounting point is the junction of the rollbar/ rollcage with the
body/chassis by welding, bolting or riveting. Any rollbar/rollcage
may be in contact with the bodyshell and this will not be regarded
as a mounting point provided there is no permanent join between
rollbar/rollcage and bodyshell.

Har trodd at det var 6 punkter til karossen. Men kan ikke se hvor jeg skulle ha putta de? En annen ting som jeg ikke finner igjen er at tversovere kun er tillatt i takhøyde og mellom dørene.

Bur reglementet fikk seg vel en overhaling for 1-2 år siden så det om bur og speedostemmer vel... Bakkeklaringen derimot - er "på bæ'tur"...

Vet ikke hvor Birgs leser men hvis man ser i App. 8 av siste App. K (s.60)- som omhandler TC (dvs Gr. 1) så gjelder følgende:

10.2 Ground clearance
All sprung parts of the car must have a minimum ground
clearance of 100mm, such that a block of 800mm x 800mm x
100mm may be passed underneath the car from any side, at any
time of the event.
Ground clearance may be measured at any time during an event,
on a surface specified by the Eligibility Delegate, and in conformity
with the Homologation Manual published by the FIA in 1993.

Iogmed at det ikke gis noen frislipp på dette i App. 9 som omhandler CT (dvs. Gr 2) - så er det §10.2 som gjelder.

Det jeg skulle likt å vite er hva som står i manualen i fra '93.....

På noen biler / bur er det mulig med ekstra innfesting i enten A- eller
B-stolpe. Da har man 2 ekstra og oppnår de maks. 8 punktene.
